Christiane Schwab ist Professorin am Institut für Empirische Kulturwissenschaft und Europäische Ethnologie der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Sie arbeitete als Postdoc-Fellow an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin und an der New York University. Ihre Forschung wurde 2018 mit dem Starting Grant des Europäischen Forschungsrats ausgezeichnet.
