Dr. Yunqi Zheng has 20 years’ experience with system integration, design, and thermal/mechanical/electromagnetic design optimization on electric drive systems. Currently, Dr. Zheng is a lead system engineer working on electric drive systems in Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, USA. She holds a PhD/MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park, USA and an MSc/BS in Engineering Mechanics from Tsinghua University, China. Dr. Zheng was a core technical member contributing to the success of in-house power electronics design for an EV start-up. She was also one of the lead engineers for an ultra-small EV on-board charger system prototype. Previously, Dr. Zheng was with GM Electrification working on mechanical design/analysis and system integration for next Gen power inverter systems. She holds several patents and has written several publications.
