Bingen YangBingen “Ben” Yang is Professor of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southern California, where he has taught for more than 30 years. Being an active researcher, he has more than 250 publications in the areas of structures, dynamics, vibrations, controls, and mechanics, including three books. His current research interests include modeling, analysis and control of flexible structures and dynamic systems, electromechanical systems, and computational methods for problems in engineering. A fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Dr. Yang received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. Kyoungrae NohKyoungrae Noh is currently a chief engineer at the LG Production engineering Research Institute (LG PRI) in South Korea. He has worked over 10 years in industrial fields of dynamics, vibrations, acoustics and controls. His research interests include modeling, analysis and control of flexible structures and dynamic systems, and computational methods for problems in engineering. Recently, his research endeavors have extended to signal processing, data analytics, and PHM (Prognostics and Health Management) for production equipment/process. He is also a director of Korean Society for Prognostics and Health Management (KSPHM). Dr. Noh received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Southern California.
