ABOUT THE EDITORS.


Yang Xiao, PhD, is a Professor in the Department of ComputerScience at The University of Alabama. He is a Senior Member of theIEEE and currently serves as Editor in Chief of InternationalJournal of Security and Networks (IJSN), InternationalJournal of Sensor Networks (IJSNet), and InternationalJournal of Telemedicine and Applications (IJTA). His areas ofresearch include security, telemedicine, sensor networks, andwireless networks. He has published more than 300 papers in majorjournals, refereed conference proceedings, and books related to theaforementioned areas.
Yi Pan, PhD, is a Yamacraw Professor in the Department ofComputer Science at Georgia State University. His researchinterests include parallel and distributed computing, opticalnetworks, wireless networks, and bioinformatics. His work oncomputing using reconfigurable optical buses has inspired extensivesubsequent work by many researchers, and his research results havebeen cited by more than 100 researchers worldwide. He is aco-holder of three U.S. patents (pending) and five provisionalpatents; has coedited eleven books or conference proceedings; andhas published more than 130 research papers.
