Understanding the processes related to gender construction requires a multi and interdisciplinary approach. Maria Lucenti, Ph.D. (2017), is Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Hamburg and Adjunct Professor of history of education and children's literature at the University of Genoa. She has published volumes and articles on the history of education, including Le monde arabo-musulmans et l’occident dans les manuels d’Italie et de Tunisie (Harmattan, 2021).
