Val Williams is a Senior Research Fellow at the Norah FryResearch Centre, University of Bristol, UK ? a leading centre forresearch into services for people with intellectual disabilitiesbased on a social model of disability. Her work concerns thebarriers faced by adults with learning disabilities, withparticular emphasis on inclusive research and analysis ofnaturally-occurring communication.
