Timon Beyes ist Professor für Soziologie der Organisation und der Kultur an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg. Er ist Direktor des Centre for Digital Cultures sowie des Instituts für Soziologie und Kulturorganisation. Er hat eine Fractional Professorship am Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy der Copenhagen Business School inne. Timon Beyes promovierte an der Universität St. Gallen und habilitierte sich ebendort an der School of Humanities and Social Sciences und der School of Management. Seine Forschung ist einer kulturtheoretisch verstandenen Organisationssoziologie gewidmet. Forschungsschwerpunkte sind dabei Medientechniken, Ästhetiken, Räume und Politiken der Organisation.
Wolfgang Hagen studierte Germanistik und Philosophie in Wien und Berlin. Promotion 1977, von 1970 bis 1972 im Gründungs-Kollektiv des Merve-Verlag Berlin, danach bis 1975 Geschäftsführer einer Buchhandlung, 1978 Kulturredakteur bei Radio Bremen, 1979 bis 1984 Redakteur und Moderator der Sendung 'SFBeat' des SFB. Von 1984 Gründungs- und Programmchef von 'Radio Bremen Vier'. Von 2002 bis 2012 war er Leiter der Kulturabteilung im Deutschlandradio. 2001 Habilitation an der Uni Basel, ab 2013 Professor für Medienwissenschaft an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg, seit 2015 Senior Researcher der DFG-Kolleg-Forschergruppe MECS und seit 2018 Projektleiter des DFG-Projekts 'Medien der Assistenz'.
Claus Pias ist seit 2010 Professor für Medientheorie und Mediengeschichte an der Leuphana Universität Lüne-burg. Er studierte Elektrotechnik in Aachen, Kunstgeschichte, Germanistik und Philosophie in Bonn und Bochum. Von 2006 bis 2010 war er Professor für Erkenntnistheorie und Philosophie der Digitalen Medien an der Universität Wien. Claus Pias ist Direktor der Kollegforschergruppe 'Medienkulturen der Computersimulation', des Centre for Digital Cultures und des Digital Cultures Research Lab (DCRL) an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg. Seine Forschungsinteressen sind Medientheorie, Wissenschaftsgeschichte des Mediendenkens sowie Geschichte und Epistemologie der Simulation und der Kybernetik.
Martin Warnke studierte Mathematik und Physik an der FU Berlin und der Universität Hamburg, promovierte in Theoretischer Tieftemperatur-Physik, war Leiter des Rechen- und Medienzentrums der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg, habilitierte 2008 und lehrt dort seit 2010 an der Fakultät Kulturwissenschaften im Fach Digitale Medien. Er leitet den Studiengang 'Digitale Medien/Kulturinformatik' und ist Direktor der Kollegforschergruppe 'Medienkulturen der Computersimulation'. Er forscht zu digitalen Wissenskulturen, digitalen Bildmedien, Computersimulationen als Theorieform der Quantenmechanik sowie Scoring-Verfahren in der VR China und im Westen. Er ist Vorsitzender des Kunstvereins Springhornhof.

From 1984 founding and programme director of 'Radio Bremen Vier'. From 2002 to 2012 he was head of the culture department at Deutschlandradio. Habilitation at the University of Basel in 2001, Professor of Media Studies at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg from 2013, Senior Researcher of the DFG Research Group MECS since 2015 and Project Manager of the DFG project 'Media of Assistance' since 2018.
Claus Pias has been Professor of Media Theory and Media History at Leuphana University Lüneburg since 2010. He studied electrical engineering in Aachen, art history, German studies and philosophy in Bonn and Bochum. From 2006 to 2010 he was Professor of Epistemology and Philosophy of Digital Media at the University of Vienna. Claus Pias is director of the Institute for Advanced Study 'Media Cultures of Computer Simulation', the Centre for Digital Cultures and the Digital Cultures Research Lab (DCRL) at Leuphana University Lüneburg. His research interests are media theology, history of science of media thinking as well as history and epistemology of simulation and cybernetics.
Martin Warnke studied mathematics and physics at the Freie Universität Berlin and the University of Hamburg, earned his doctorate in theoretical low-temperature physics, was head of the Computing and Media Centre at Leuphana University Lüneburg, habilitated in 2008 and has been teaching there since 2010 at the Faculty of Cultural Studies in the subject of digital media. He heads the degree programme 'Digital Media/Cultural Informatics' and is director of the Institute for Advanced Study 'Media Cultures of Computer Simulation'. He conducts research on digital knowledge cultures, digital image media, computer simulations as a theoretical form of quantum mechanics and scoring procedures in the People's Republic of China and in the West. He is chairman of the Springhornhof Art Association.
