LEE W. WALDREP, PHD, has over 20 years of experience inhigher education with expertise in career development andarchitecture. Waldrep earned a Ph.D. in counseling and developmentfrom The American University, a master of architecture from ArizonaState University, and a bachelor of science from the University ofMichigan. During his career, he has served in three accreditedarchitecture programs--the University of Illinois atUrbana-Champaign, the University of Maryland and Illinois Instituteof Technology. Waldrep previously served as Associate ExecutiveDirector of the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) andas National Vice-President of the American Institute ofArchitecture Students (AIAS). Waldrep has written and presented onthe topics of careers and architecture extensively around thecountry. In addition, he is a contributor to AIA's Architect'sHandbook of Professional Practice, 15th Edition.
