Terence Wade (1930-2005) was ProfessorEmeritus and Research Fellow in Russian Studies at the Universityof Strathclyde, Glasgow. He wrote 12 books,including Prepositions in Modern Russian(1985), Russian EtymologicalDictionary (1996), The Russian LanguageToday (with Larissa Ryazanova-Clarke, 1999), and AComprehensive Russian Grammar, third edition (revised byDavid Gillespie, Wiley-Blackwell, 2010).
David Gillespie is Professor of Russian at theUniversity of Bath, UK, where he has taught Russian language andculture since 1985. He is the author of 8 books and more than 50papers on modern Russian literature and film.
