Über Autor(innen)

Andreas van Egmond-Frohlich, M.D. studied medicine at the LMU Munich, Germany received his residency training in pediatrics at the University of Illinois hospital in Chicago and his fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at the pediatric pulmonary center of the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Subsequently he received training in allergology at the Fachklinik Gaissach in Germany and was appointed medical director of a pediatric rehabilitation facility in Saxony-Anhalt. After visiting international reference centers for home ventilation he was responsible for the state of the art respiratory care of neuromuscular patients at the Austrian Muscle Center / KFJ in Vienna, Austria during the last six years. He has held many workshops on this topic both in Austria and internationally and combines experience in practical work, research, teaching, and administration.
