Topbas, Seyhun
Seyhun Topbas is a Professor of Speech and Language Therapy at Istanbul Medipol University, Turkey. She is one of the pioneers of the Speech & Language Therapy profession in Turkey, and the founder of the first graduate and undergraduate programs in Speech Language Therapy in the country, Dr Topbas has developed standardized tests and has authored many articles and chapters in international and national journals. She has written and been the editor of three volumes in speech and language disorders as well as an international book published by Multilingual Matters titled Communication Disorders in Turkish (co-authored). She is a member of ASHA, CPLOL and a member of IALP, ICPLA, and on the editorial board of the journal Clinical Linguistics and Phonetics. Currently, she is Head of the national Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Turkey.
