Scott Thumma, Ph.D., is professor of sociology of religionat Hartford Seminary and researcher at Hartford Institute forReligion Research. Scott is recognized as a leading researcher andwriter on congregational studies. He is also editor of the LillyEndowment funded website Insights into Religion.
Warren Bird, Ph.D., is director of research andintellectual capital development for Leadership Network. Anordained minister, he serves as an adjunct faculty member atAlliance Theological Seminary. Warren has coauthored 22 booksincluding Culture Shift and Viral Churches, both fromJossey-Bass.
