With this book, we would like to resume the passionate conversation that Jean-Luc Nancy was engaged in throughout his life, with philosophers and artists from all over the world. Now that he has passed away, it is not enough for us to simply reflect on his work: we would like to stay true to the stance to which his thought invites us, in a pluralistic and communal way. Jean-Luc Nancy takes up the old philosophical question of truth as a praxis of a with — understanding truth without any given measure or comparison as an articulation of a with. Lindberg, Susanna
Susanna Lindberg ist Professorin für Kontinentale Philosophie an der Universität Leiden, Niederlande. Nach ihrem Studium an der Universität Helsinki wurde sie an der Marc-Bloch-Universität in Straßburg promoviert und erhielt ihre Habilitation an der Universität Paris Nanterre. Sie hat als Forscherin, Dozentin und Professorin in Finnland und Frankreich gearbeitet. Sie spezialisierte sich auf deutschen Idealismus, Phänomenologie und zeitgenössische französische Philosophie. Ihre Forschung hat sich insbesondere auf die Begriffe des Lebens, der Animalität, des Elementaren und der Technologie konzentriert. Zu ihren Büchern gehören From Technological Humanity to Bio-Technical Existence (erscheint bei SUNY Press im 2023), Techniques en philosophie (Hermann, Paris, 2020); Le monde défait. Tatari, Marita
Marita Tatari ist Professorin für Philosophie an der Universität Patras. Ihr Forschungsgebiet ist kontinentale Ästhetik. Sie wurde an der Universität Marc
Bloch in Strasbourg bei Jean-Luc Nancy promoviert und hat sich an der Ruhr Universität
Bochum habilitiert. Sie war Humboldt Fellow an der UC Berkeley und am ZfL Berlin. Sie hat
an der Humboldt Universität, der UdK Berlin, sowie an den Universitäten Basel, Bochum,
Dresden, Leipzig und Kreta unterrichtet und die Professur Gegenwartsästhetik an der HMDK
Stuttgart vertreten. Zu ihren Büchern gehören: Kunstwerk als Handlung – Transformationen
von Ausstellung und Teilnahme, Fink 2017, Orte des Unermesslichen – Theater nach der
Geschichtsteleologie (Hsg.), diaphanes 2014, Heidegger et Rilke – Interprétation et partage

Magun, Artemy
Artemy Magun ist Professor am Zentrum für Praktische Philosophie der Europäischen Universität in Sankt-Petersburg. Er promovierte in Politikwissenschaften an der University of Michigan (2003) und promovierte in Philosophie an der Universität Straßburg (2004). Magun ist Autor zahlreicher Bücher und Artikel in Russisch, Englisch und Französisch. Er ist Herausgeber von Stasis, einer Zeitschrift für soziales und politisches Denken. Zu seinen Werken zählen die Bücher Negative Revolution (2013), Politics of the One (2013, Hrsg.), The Future of the State (2020, Hrsg.); und Aufsätze wie 'Illuminated by Darkness. Two Symbolist Masterpieces', 'Hysterical Machiavellianism. Russian Foreign Policy and the International Non-relations', 'Marx’s Theory of Time', 'De Negatione' und viele andere.
