Involved in high-speed technology research anddevelopment for many years, he has held leadership positions aschair of IEEE Communications Society Technical Committee on GigabitNetworking and the IFI Protocols for High-Speed Networksinternational steering committee.
JOSEPH D. TOUCH is Director of the Postel Center for ExperimentalNetworking in the Computer Networks Division of InformationSciences Institute and Research Assistant Professor at USC. He wasco-chair of the International Workshop on Protocols for High-SpeedNetworks.
