Madhuben Sharma is an Assistant Professor (SG) in the Sustainability Cluster, School of Advanced Engineering at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. She holds a doctorate degree in Surface water assessment of major water bodies in the Himalayan region from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi. She has more than 20 years of teaching and research experience. Her area of research is application of statistical techniques in water resources engineering, development of water quality index and water quality modelling. Her work primarily focuses on comprehensive assessment and analysis of the water quality of major water bodies in the Uttarakhand State-River Ganga & Yamuna and Nainital Lake through primary sampling, monitoring and pollution source apportionment. She has published her research work in leading national and international journals focusing on Himalayan water bodies. Currently she is working on a UCOST funded project titled “Water quality assessment of river Yamuna, Uttarakhand and its exposure assessment with respect to water-borne diseases among the nearby community of River” as a Principal Investigator,

Suvendu Manna did his PhD in materials science in 2015. Currently he is an assistant professor in University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. Dr. Manna authored or co-authored almost 54 international research and review articles for various leading journals. Also, he wrote around 21 book chapters and editing 6 books. Current research interest of Dr. Manna is on nanomaterials for waste management, waste recycling, environmental microbiology, and water treatment.

Nitin Kamboj is PhD in Environmental Science & currently An Assistant Professor in Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar, India. He has more than 15 years of experience in Environment Management and ecological studies. He has presented/published 50+ papers, 4 books & 17 book chapter

Ajaya Behera did his PhD in materials science in 2013. Currently he is an assistant professor in Utkal University, India. He authored or co-authored almost 30+ international research and review articles for various leading journals. Dr. Behera currently is on nanomaterials biocomposites preparation and bioenergy from biowaste.

Surendra Singh Suthar is a Professor at the School of Environment, Doon University, Dehradun. He specializes in a range of critical areas within environmental science, including solid waste management, ecotoxicology, constructed wetlands, and microplastic pollution. His research also delves into phytoremediation, contaminant hydrology, waste-to-energy technologies, and emerging pollutants. With a strong commitment to addressing pressing environmental issues. He employs innovative approaches to tackle challenges related to waste management and pollution. His expertise in constructed wetlands and phytoremediation offers sustainable solutions for contaminant removal and ecosystem restoration. He is a 2% scientist as per the Standford University ranking. He published more than 150 articles in international journals with a total google scholar citation 10295.
