Media Ownership and Agenda Control presents a vital and comprehensive analysis of ownership and control of media providers and outlets today, and the affect that these ownership strictures have on news sources and journalistic autonomy.

Justin Scholsberg combines new research data with an in-depth analysis of political and economic policy, as well as an expansive understanding of the key scholarly debates to re-think the concepts of media plurality and media independence.

Using a range of case studies to explore the impact of issues including digital growth and disruption, as well as structural decline in news media markets across a range of international examples, Media Ownership and Agenda Control clearly illustrates the essential themes and future directions in the online, print and broadcast media landscape for 21st century media ownership.
