He is Advisory Professor (1994) of the Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NUST) in China and gave lectures at NUST. He also presented lectures at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in Monterey, Cal., USA. He is Fellow of Wessex Institute of Great Britain (2002) and Member of the Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Hamburg (2004).
