Über Autor(innen)

Mark Roettger, DDS, FASD, is Clinic Director for the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview General Practice Residency Clinic, and is currently attending faculty in the University of Minnesota Hospital, working with dental residents treating medically complex patients. Dr. Roettger graduated with a BS in Biology from the University of Minnesota in 1977 and was granted his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1982. Since 1983 he has been engaged in the practice of general dentistry, and sports dentistry has been one of his principal interests. He is a fellow, Charter member and past president of The Academy for Sports Dentistry and an inventor of the Under Armour Performance Mouthwear products. He was editor of the Academy for Sports Dentistry Newsletter from 2001 to 2007 and is a reviewer for The Physician and Sportsmedicine and the Journal of Athletic Training: Dental Issues 2014 . Dr. Roettger has lectured internationally on prevention and management of dental trauma and performance, stress, and oral appliances. Currently he is a dental consultant to the University of Minnesota Athletic department.
