Kotanyi, Christophe
Christophe Kotanyi (*1949 in Budapest, Hungary) received a PhD in radio astronomy in 1981 from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. He lives in Berlin as freelance astronomer, philosopher, writer, and translator (French, English, Dutch, Portuguese). He gave seminars at the Free University of Berlin, Institute of Sociology, and at Kunsthochschule Weißensee, Berlin, Germany. He is currently translating and editing works of the hungarian philosopher Lajos Szabó. Christophe Kotanyi is an aporetician. He is the son of Attila Kotányi, a distinguished philosopher and former member of the Internationale Situationniste (until 1963).
Roch, Axel
Dr Axel Roch, *1971, MA in Cultural Studies and Philosophy (HU and FU Berlin), PhD in Media Studies (LMU Munich). Was Artistic and Academic Staff at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, Germany. Research Fellow and Guest Artist at ZKM, Center for Art and Media, Karlsruhe. Was Lecturer for Interactive Media at Goldsmiths College, UK. Was UD (Universitair Docent) at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, NL. Is currently Adjunct Professor (Lehrbeauftragter) at Kunsthochschule Weißensee, Berlin.
van Suntum, Magda
Magda van Suntum is a painter. She has studied sculpture at the Art Academy Düsseldorf between 1980 and 1985 with Karl Bobek. Presently she takes care of the Attila Kotányi Estate and the legacy of hungarian translator and poet Magda Huszár.
