He is also a former presidentof the Virginia Association of Museums and a past board member ofthe National Parks and History Foun-dation. He has previouslyworked at the National Trust for Historic Preservation and at theCollege of William & Mary.
Stephen Spignesi is the author of thirty-six nonfictionbooks and one acclaimed novel.
