Farooq, Hafiz Muhammad Umer
Hafiz Muhammad Umer Farooq is a PhD student at Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi'an, China, studying biomedical engineering. He has a Masters in Biology, and is also a doctor of veterinary medicine, from the University of Veternary and Animal Sciences in Pakistan. His current research includes bone research protocol and the role of O-GIcNAcylation in muscle atrophy and its mechanisms. He has received multiple scholarship awards.

Patil, Suryaji Chandrarao
Dr. Suryaji Patil was born in India. He obtained his master's degree in 2016 in biotechnology. Since 2018 he is pursuing a doctoral degree in biomedical engineering at Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an, China in Bone Metabolism Laboratory under the supervision of Professor Qian Airong. He has working knowledge of molecular biology, cell and tissue biology, biomaterial chemistry and is currently working on developing new nanocarriers for nucleic acid therapy to improve the specificity and lower the side effects of current bone treatments.

Lin, Xiao
Dr. Lin received her bachelor's degree in bioengineering and her PhD in biology. Main research areas: Mechanobiology, bone metabolic diseases, space biology research. Published more than 30 papers in journals such as Genes & Diseases, International Journal of Biological Sciences, Biomaterials, Theranostics, Journal of Bone and Bone, and have 4 invention patents. She is on the Young editorial board of Biomedical Engineering Communications, Guest Associate Editor of the Journal Frontiers in Endocrinology, Review Editor of Frontiers in Physiology Journal.
