Dr Maria A. Pozza is a Barrister and Solicitors admitted in New Zealand in 2014. She specialises in Space law and operates a law firm, Gravity Lawyers Limited, that specialises in this field of law. As an international space law expert, Maria’s expertise is called upon by international institutions and she is an adjunct lecturer at Massey School of Aviation, Massey University, New Zealand. Currently Maria is a PhD supervisor and her student is focusing on space governance.

Dr Maria A. Pozza has been awarded by NZ and Australian Lawyers Magazine as an Elite women lawyer in 2022 and has been recognised for her contribution to space law through a number of important accolades. Maria is the editor of the book series, Space Law and Policy (Springer).
