A.C.S. Peacock, PhD (2003) is Bishop Wardlaw Professor of Islamic History at the University of St Andrews, UK and a Fellow of the British Academy. He has published extensively on both Middle Eastern and Indian Ocean history, including (with I.H. Kadi), Ottoman-Southeast Asian Relations: Sources from the Ottoman Archives (Brill, 2020)
