Dr Javid A Parray holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science. He has completed his Research Programme (MPhil and PhD) from the University of Kashmir after qualifying state level prestigious JKSLET examination. He has also done his post-doctoral research at the University of Kashmir. Dr Parray was also awarded a Fast Track Young Scientist Project by SERB – DST, GoI New Delhi. He teaches at the Department of Environmental Science, GDC Eidgah Srinagar, Cluster University Srinagar. He has attended many courses and conferences on environmental issues and other biotechnological aspects within and outside the country like Srilanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Uzbekistan etc. His fundamental research interests include ecological and agricultural microbiology, climate change and microbial biotechnology, environmental microbiome etc. He has published over 50 high-impact research papers and book chapters in reputed journals and publishing Hubs. Dr Parray has authored 25 books with international publishers like Elsevier, Springer, Callisto Reference USA and Wiley-Blackwell. Dr Parray is on the editorial board and is a permanent reviewer of many journals, and has been an invited speaker at various scientific meetings/conferences within India and abroad. He has Guest-edited various special issues on Environmental Biofilms, Sustainable food systems, and the environment with BioMed Research International, Hindwaii., Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems, etc. He is a member of many International and National scientific organizations and societies like the Asian PGPR Society, IJMS, Mumbai, Academy of Eco science, IAES Haridwar, etc. Dr. Javid was also awarded the “Emerging Scientist Year Gold Medal” for 2018 by the Indian Academy of Environmental Science. Dr Parray is Course coordinator for 03 CeC-MOOCS National Swayam courses in Environmental Science. Dr Parray Has been Recently awarded PIFI Visiting fellowship by Chinese Academy of Science. Dr. Wen-Jun Li received his PhD in microbiology from Shenyang Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is currently working as Distinguished Professor in School of Life Sciences, Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangzhou, China. His publications include six monographs, 30 authorized patents, and more than 1000 peer reviewed research articles. His research mainly focuses on microbial diversity under those unusual environments, by using culture-dependent and culture-independent methods, and also on mechanisms of extremophilic microbes to adapt those unusual environments. He was awarded the WFCC (The World Federation for Culture Collections) Skerman award for microbial taxonomy in 2007, and other six provincial and ministry level awards for his outstanding research contributions on the field of microbial systematics and microbial ecology.He has successfully trained more than 150 graduate students and postdocs level young generation in the field of microbial taxonomy and microbial ecology at home and abroad countries. He is serving as editorial board members or Associate Editors of more than 10 International journals, and he was appointed as membership of International Committee on Systematics of Prokaryotes (ICSP) since 2017, and Secretary of Bergey’s International Society for Microbial Systematics (BISDr. A. K. Haghi is a Professor Emeritus of Engineering at University of Guilan and has published 250+ academic research-oriented books and 1000+ research papers in various journals and conference proceedings. His leadership in academic publishing includes founding and serving as Editor-in-Chief of prestigious journals. Professor Haghi’s extensive educational background and supervisory roles underscore his expertise and contributions to the field of engineering sciences. He is appointed as Honorary Research Associate (HRA) at University of Coimbra, Portugal.
