The Java Simulation Handbook surveys a wide range of issues that relevant to a successful simulation project. Professor Dr.-Ing. Bernd Page is Professor of applied computer science at the University of Hamburg (Germany). Professor Page has been engaged in teaching, research, and technology transfer of simulation for many years.

Associate Professor Dr. Wolfgang Kreutzer teaches computer science at the University of Canterbury (New Zealand). His interests in simulation focus on model design and implementation. He has taught and written about simulation since the mid-1970s.
