After medical civil-service examination 1963 at the Humboldt-University of Berlin the author there worked two years in the Anatomical Institute. After that training at the Charité to a specialist of earnose- throat-medicine, where he covered a doctor degree. 1970 until 1977, outpatient occupation as ENT-specialist in an Outpatients of Berlin. During this time second job with study of the phylogenesis of Therapsids und Birds. Januar 1978 return to the ENT-clinic of the Charité. Januar 1981, habilitation with the theme „Pathogenesis of Ear-Malformations.” – On this occasion hedelivered the lecture „Mistake of the Theory of Reichert-Gaupp“.1981 until 1987, there he was senior physician. January 1988 until December 2002, head physician of the ENT-Hospital of Berlin- Friedrichshain.
