Microwave heating is rapidly replacing conventional heating technologies used in many industries including food processing, timber drying, ceramic fabrication and processing, and mining. Similarly, microwave heating has a number of innovative applications in the concrete industry. This reference book deals with the underlying concepts of microwave heating of concrete. It covers the design of industrial microwave heating generators and applicators, as well as various process control techniques to monitor the condition of fresh and hardened concrete during the heating process.
