The „Dokumente wachsender Übereinstimmung” is a standard work of ecumenical theology in the German-speaking world. The volumes document the results of all inter-church dialogues worldwide. The completeness of the published documents provides a unique overview of central topics of ecumenical conversation. The 5th volume of this standard work contains all reports and consensus texts published in the years 2010–2019, many of which are published in German for the first time. The main part consists of documents of bilateral dialogue commissions, in which essential results of ecumenical dialogue of the past decades are summarized. In addition, the volume contains joint pronouncements of church leaders, central documents from multilateral dialogues, and statements on church fellowship.
