Glasby, Jon
Jon Glasby is Professor of Health and Social Care and Head of the School of Social Policy, University of Birmingham. A qualified social worker by background, he has been a board member of the Social Care Institute for Excellence, is NHS Non-Executive Director and sits on the Board of Birmingham Children’s Trust.

Needham, Catherine
Catherine Needham is Professor of Public Policy and Public Management in the Health Services Management Centre, University of Birmingham. Her research focuses on new approaches to public service workforce development, as well as social care and policy innovation.

Catherine Needham is Reader in Public Policy and Public Management at the Health Services Management Centre, University of Birmingham. She has written extensively on social care, including Personalising Public Services: Understanding the Personalisation Narrative (Policy Press, 2011).
Jon Glasby is Professor of Health and Social Care and Director of the Health Services Management Centre, University of Birmingham. Jon is a qualified social worker by background and is the author of a series of leading textbooks on health and social services.
