This 2022 edition of the Science Studies Yearbook is based on a series of discussions organized and conducted in virtual, Internet-based settings, dealing with issues of planning and knowledge organization. The theme of this yearbook was inspired by the European OpenHeritage project, which involved questions of transferability: Can successful policies or planning approaches developed and applied in one place or context be transferred and applied elsewhere? This is not a purely theoretical question; it concerns governance and requires a coherent governance system. This yearbook is therefore divided into two parts. The first is entitled "General Views" and reflects on the question of knowledge in planning. The second part focuses on issues of transferability as experienced in the context of OpenHeritage.
