For 30 years he was a professor of civil engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has published over 200 papers/books on transportation planning and is considered a leading authority on transportation systems. Dr. Meyer has advised numerous countries, states and regions on transportation planning issues.
