The Mauz clarinet method (German and Böhm system) is aimed at beginners and is suitable for individual or group lessons. It is published in three volumes, each of which has a tune book available to go with it. Easy to understand, with a large selection of songs and illustrations in four colours throughout, this method is designed to appeal to younger clarinettists from the age of about 8.
Now volume 1 of this method, which has by now established itself as a standard work, is also available with a CD. This makes it even more fun to play, for the CD contains many of the pieces both with clarinet and as a play-along accompaniment. Some of the faster pieces are also recorded at a slower tempo for practice.
