This book investigates solutions incorporated by architecture boards in global enterprises to resolve issues and mitigate related architecture risks, while also proposing and implementing an adaptive integrated digital architecture framework (AIDAF) and related models and approaches/platforms which can be applied in companies to promote IT strategies using cloud/mobile IT/digital IT.   

The book is divided into three main parts, the first of which (Chapters 1–2) addresses the background and motivation for AIDAF aligned with digital IT strategies,. The second part (Chapter 3) provides an overview of strategic enterprise architecture (EA) frameworks for digital IT, elaborates on the essential elements of EA frameworks in the digital IT era, and advocates using AIDAF, models for architecture assessment/risk management, and knowledge management on digital platforms. In turn, the third part () demonstrates the application and benefits of AIDAF and related models

Über Autor(innen)

Yoshimasa Masuda has 14 years of experience in enterprise architecture covering technology, application and security in many industries. He received his Ph.D. in system design and management from Keio University as the top graduate. After completing a B.S. degree in science and engineering at Keio University, he led many global projects at IBM Japan and engaged in international assignments (Turkey, China), and completed his executive education (MoT) at MIT in 2011. After joining a global healthcare company, he started the global enterprise architecture, and he worked as Sr. IT Director in Manufacturing, Robotics company in 2019. He joined Carnegie Mellon University in the US and Australia in 2018. He worked as a project professor at Keio University and in the Teaching Faculty at Carnegie Mellon University in 2021-2022, and also worked as a professor in the School of Management at Tokyo University of Science in 2022-2023. Furthermore, he got the “Global Achievement Award – Innovative Solutions Award 2021” from worldwide ISACA, by establishing the AIDAF framework, and he got the "Global AIS - Outreach Practice Publication Award" in 2022, by this AIDAF book. He is also Workshop Chair of IEEE EDOC conference, and he is selected as Vice President of "Association for Information Systems (AIS) - Leadership in IT SIG" in 2024. His research interests include enterprise architecture, digital IT, digital healthcare, IT management and global leadership.

Murli Viswanathan has been with Carnegie Mellon University Australia since 2007. As an associate professor, he lectures and manages projects in business intelligence/analytics, machine learning, enterprise architecture, JAVA, and information systems for managers. After receiving his Ph.D. in computer science from Monash University, he was a distinguished visiting professor at Ministry for Information & Communication in South Korea and an assistant professor of computer science at University of Melbourne. He is a senior member of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) and Accenture subject matter expert for analytics, and he has worked as Associate Professor in the Australian Institute of Advanced Technologies. His primary research interests include machine learning for AI, ubiquitous healthcare, enterprise architecture, and philosophy of mind.
