Known for his studies on the canonical gospels and on Paul, Dieter Lührmann has also done pioneering work on the apocryphal gospels. He has published on the meaning of revelation in Paul, on the Sayings collection Q, on the concept of faith in Early Christianity, and has written commentaries on Mark and on the Galatians.
