Über Autor(innen)

Muammer Koç, PhD, is the Director of National ScienceFoundation (NSF)-Industry/University Cooperative Research Center(I/UCRC) on Precision Forming (CPF), Associate Professor in theDepartment of Mechanical Engineering at Virginia CommonwealthUniversity; and Associate Professor of Department of IndustrialEngineering at Istanbul Sehir University. His research interestsinclude manufacturing processes and systems, micro-manufacturing,design of nano/micro-scale functional surface structures, andproduct innovation.
Tugrul Özel, PhD, is the Director ofManufacturing Automation Research Laboratory and AssociateProfessor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineeringat Rutgers University in New Jersey. His research interests includemanufacturing processes and automated systems, computationalmodeling of machining processes, laser-based micro/nano processing,and design and manufacturing of micro-products.
