Prof. Kavita Khanna has done M.Tech. Computer Engineering, MDU, Rohtak, and Ph.D. in Computer Graphics & Soft Computing Techniques, GGSIPU, Delhi. With 21 years of teaching, administration, and research experience, currently she is associated to The NorthCap University, Gurugram, as Professor and Head of the Department (CSE Dept.). Her interests include artificial neural networks, digital image processing, computer graphics, cryptographic techniques, artificial intelligence: metaheuristic techniques, neural networks, machine learning, and analysis & design of algorithms. She has more than 60 publications in reputed journals, conferences, and chapters. She has guided many M.Tech. and Ph.D. students. Prof. Khanna is receiving a research grant from the Department of Science & Technology, India, of Rs 20,00,000/- for project and has also received consultancy projects from various other government organizations. She has also organized various conferences, workshops, FDP and has been Reviewer, Session Chair, and Committee Member of conferences and journals.

Vania Estrela has done B.Sc. by UFRJ in Electrical and Comp. Eng. (ECE); M.Sc. ITA, Brazil; M.Sc. Northwestern University, USA; and Ph.D. in ECE from IIT, IL., USA, taught at DeVry University; DePaul University; UENF; UEZO; and IPRJ/UERJ. Currently, she is Faculty at UFF, RJ, Brazil, Telecommunications Department. Her Interests include signal/image/video processing, inverse problems, computational & mathematical modeling, stochastic models, multimedia, digital inclusion, health informatics, machine learning, ambient intelligence, cyber-physical systems, environmental issues, public health, humanitarian engineering, Internet of things, electronic instrumentation, STEM education, environmental issues, and remote sensing. She has a great experience coordinating multidisciplinary R&D groups and organizing conferences. She has been Reviewer for Elsevier; IET; Springer; IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics (JBHI); Int’l J. of Electrical and Comp. Engineering (IJECE); Int’l Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence (IJACI); Journal of Microwaves, Optoelectronics and Electromagnetic Applications (JMOE); among other publications, Member of IEEE, and Editor of IJACI, and EURASIP JASP. She has edited several books.

Joel J. P. C. Rodrigues [Fellow, IEEE] is Professor at the Federal University of Piauí, Brazil; Senior Researcher at the Instituto de Telecomunicações, Portugal; and Collaborator of the Post-Graduation Program on Teleinformatics Engineering at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Brazil. Professor Rodrigues is Leader of the Next Generation Networks and Applications (NetGNA) research group (CNPq), IEEE Distinguished Lecturer, and Member Representative of the IEEE Communications Society on the IEEE Biometrics Council. He was Director for Conference Development - IEEE ComSoc Board of Governors, Technical Activities Committee Chair of the IEEE ComSoc Latin America Region Board, Past-Chair of the IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee on eHealth and Communications Software. He is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of E-Health and Medical Communications and Editorial Board Member of several high-reputed journals. He has authored or co-authored over 950 papers in refereed international journals and conferences, 3 books, 2 patents, and 1 ITU-T recommendation.
