Philological practices have served to secure and transmit textual sources for centuries. Über Autor(innen)

Pethes, Nicolas
Nicolas Pethes (Prof. Dr. phil.), geb. 1970, unterrichtet Neuere deutsche Literatur an der Universität zu Köln. Seine Arbeitsschwerpunkte umfassen die Mediengeschichte der Literatur, Diskurse über Medienwirkungen und Populärkultur sowie Wechselwirkungen zwischen Wissenschaft und Literatur.

Pál Kelemen (Dr. phil.), born in 1977, teaches Comparative Literature at Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem in Budapest. His research includes material cultures of nineteenth century literature, the history and theory of philology, and the culture of everyday life.
Nicolas Pethes (Dr. phil.), born 1970, is professor of modern German literature and comparative literary history at Universität zu Köln. His research focuses on the media history of literature, the history of science, cultural memory studies and popular culture.
