Dr. Suvanjan Bhattacharyya is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at BITS Pilani, renowned for his pioneering contributions in the field of applied thermal engineering. With a career dedicated to advancing research in energy systems, he has garnered international recognition for his work on heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and sustainable energy technologies. His prolific academic output includes over 100 high-quality SCI journal papers, underscoring his commitment to excellence in research and publication. His expertise spans a wide range of inter-disciplinary areas. His research interests include energy storage, microfluidics, and thermal management systems, where he combines experimental and numerical methods to address complex engineering challenges. Currently, he supervises 12 Ph.D. students, fostering the next generation of engineers and researchers.

Professor David James is a leading figure in the world of sports engineering and technology. He is the CEO of the LABOSPORT Group and holds a title of visiting professor at Sheffield Hallam University. He has been working in the field of sports engineering for 20 years and has sustained a significant contribution to research and knowledge transfer through a myriad of projects with sports companies and federations. In 2018, he was awarded the title of Professor of Sports Engineering (Sheffield Hallam University Personal Chair). He is a champion for public engagement in research. More than 1 million individuals have directly connected with his public engagement activities as either participants or audiences. He has worked tirelessly to reposition science and engineering as a part of mainstream culture through major projects including exhibitions, lecture tours, public debates, theatre, school workshops and public art.
