David Hassan is one of the leading researchers in the field of sports scholarship having published books on identity politics, sport in the Middle East and the history of world motorsport. He is Editor of Foundations in Sport Management, a Routledge series examining this expanding academic field, and Academic Editor of the journal Sport in Society. In total he has publishedseven book titles and has over 120 academic outputs in a research career spanningfifteen years.
