Michael Hanby is Associate Professor of Religion andPhilosophy of Science at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute forMarriage and Family Studies at the Catholic University ofAmerica. His previous published works include Augustineand Modernity and numerous journal articles. He hastaught previously at Baylor University and VillanovaUniversity.
