Dr. M. K. Ghosal, presently working as Professor in Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. His areas of expertise are Renewable Energy Engineering, Solar Thermal Engineering, Solar Photovoltaic Technology and Greenhouse Technology. Author of six books (four in Renewable Energy Technology and two in Sources of Farm Power). He did his B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) from OUAT, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, M. Tech. (Farm Power and Machinery) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, West Bengal and Ph.D. (Energy Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. To his credit, he has Published 140 research articles in various national and international scientific journals. He is presently the Associate Editor of two agricultural based Journals i.e. International Journal of Tropical Agriculture and International Journal of Agricultural Engineering. He has been actively involved in teaching Renewable Energy Engineering subjects both in UG and PG level of Agricultural University since last 25 years.
