Dr. GORDIAN GAETA is an active private equity investorand advisor specializing in complex and distressed equity andalternative investments and transactions predominantly in thedeveloping economies of Asia. He participates on boards, investmentand finance committees, and in executive functions of fundmanagers, investment firms, and financial services companies. Gaetastarted his career as a banker in several countries before becominga management consultant. A former academic, he also lectured atseveral universities; served as director, professor, or dean ofprivate academies certifying financial services professionals oninvestment; and co-chaired the Asian Banker Summit. Gaetacontributes regularly to an investment column as well as investmentpublications and is the author, coauthor, or editor of variousbooks related to finance, business, and investing, includingFrontiers in Credit Risk (Wiley).
