Dr. Imen Nouira is a Doctor of Electrical Engineering, specializing in power electronics, control systems, and electrical machines, with a       particular focus on renewable energy applications (PV & Wind) and electric vehicles (EVs). She obtained her engineering degree in Industrial Electronics from the Sousse  Engineering School   in 2012, followed by a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Sfax Engineering School, Tunisia, in 2019. Her research involves advanced control strategies for power electronic converters and motor control, including techniques such as CBPWM, SVM, DTC,  RFOC, PTC, and DPC. She also explores PFC methods to optimize system efficiency. Dr. Nouira utilizes MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and simulation and integrates dSPACE 1104 interface cards for practical implementation and testing. Her research bridges theoretical modeling with hands-on experimentation, advancing the performance and efficiency of control strategies in various energy systems.

Prof. Bassem El Badsi received the BS degree in 2004 in Electromechanical Engineering, the MS in 2005 and the PhD in 2009 all in Electrical Engineering, from the Sfax Engineering School (SES), University of Sfax, Tunisia. He is currently a full Professor of power electronics and drives at SES since 2009. Prof. El Badsi is a member of the Research Laboratory on Renewable Energies and Electric Vehicles (RELEV) of the University of Sfax. His major interests are the analysis and the implementation of advanced control strategies in AC motor drives, specifically applied to automotive systems. In addition to his expertise in power electronics and drives, Prof. El Badsi is also involved in the development of renewable energy technologies. His research covers areas such as power conversion, space vector modulation, and high power electronics. He works on optimizing grid integration and enhancing power generation solutions, with a particular interest in electric vehicles and power electronics applications for renewable energy systems. Prof. El Badsi is actively contributing to the study and improvement of electric motors, power systems simulation, and harmonics in power electronics systems.
