Health inequalities are the most important inequalities of all. In the US and the UK these inequalities have now reached an extent not seen for over a century. Dorling, Danny
Danny Dorling is Halford Mackinder Professor of Geography at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of St Peter’s College. He is a patron of RoadPeace, Comprehensive Future and Heeley City Farm. He has published over 50 books, including the best-selling Peak Inequality: Britain’s Ticking Timebomb (2018) and Injustice: Why Social Inequality Still Persists (2014).

Danny Dorling is Professor for the Public Understanding of Social Science at the University of Sheffield. With a group of colleagues he helped create the website www.worldmapper.org which shows who has most and least in the world. He has been a member of the World Health Organization's Scientific Resource Group on Health Equity Analysis and Research, is a Patron of the charity RoadPeace, an Academician of the Academy of the Learned Societies in the Social Sciences, and Honorary President of the Society of Cartographers.
