Sudeb Dasgupta is presently working as an Associate Professor, in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He received his PhD degree in Electronics Engineering from IIT-Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 2000. During his PhD work, he carried out research in the area of effects of ionizing radiation on MOSFET. In 2006, he joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He has authored/co-authored more than 200 research papers in peer reviewed international journals and conferences. He is a member of IEEE, EDS, ISTE and associate member of Institute of Nanotechnology, UK. He has been a technical committee member International Conference on Micro-to-Nano, 2006; he is also been nominated as Marquis’s Who’s Who in Science in Engineering, USA awarded by Marquis, 2006, 2007 and 2008 and has been acting as an expert member of The Global Open University, The Netherlands. He was awarded with Erasmus Mundus Fellowship of European Union in the year 2010 to work in the area of RDF at Politecnico Di Torino, Italy. He is the recipient of prestigious IUSSTF to work in the area of SRAM testing at University of Wisconsin at Madison, USA in the year 2011-12. He was also awarded with DAAD Fellowship to work on Analog Design using Reconfigurable Logic at TU, Dresden, Germany in the year 2013. His areas of interest are Nanoelectronics, Nanoscale MOSFET modeling and simulation, Design and Development of low power novel devices, FinFET based Memory Design, Emerging Devices in Analog Design and Development of reconfigurable logic. Dr. Dasgupta acted as a reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, IEEE Electron Device Letters, IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology, Superlattice and Microstructures amongst other.
Brajesh Kumar Kaushik received B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the DCR University of Science and Technology,Haryana (1994), M.Tech in Engineering Systems from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra, India, in 1997, and the PhD degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, India, in 2007. He served at Vinytics Peripherals, Delhi from 1997 to 1998 as R&D Engineer for microprocessor-, microcontroller-, and DSP processor-based systems. He is currently serving as Associate Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. His research interests include high-speed interconnects, low-power VLSI design, carbon nanotube-based designs, organic thin-film transistor design and modeling, and spintronics-based devices and circuits. He has published extensively in several national and international journals and conferences of repute. Dr. Kaushik is a reviewer of many international journals from IEEE, IET, Elsevier, Springer, Emerald, Taylor and Francis etc. He also holds the position of the Editor and Editor-in-Chief of various journals in the field of VLSI and microelectronics. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and has received many awards and recognitions from the International Biographical Center, Cambridge, U.K. His name has been listed in Marquis Who’s Who in Science and Engineering and Marquis Who’s Who in the World.
Pankaj Kumar Pal received the B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gurukul Kangri University, in 2008, and the M.Tech. degree in VLSI design from NIT-Hamirpur in 2010. He submitted his Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics and VLSI from the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, IITRoorkee, India. His current research interests include novel MOS Based devices, FinFET parasitic extraction, semiconductor device modeling, and low-power SRAM memory design. Mr. Pal has received Director’s Medal from NIT-Hamirpur, for branch topper in M.Tech for 2010.
