Mims Cushing lives with peripheral neuropathy. She has published extensively in magazines and newspapers, including the New York Times, and contributed a chapter to Dr. Latov previous book <I>Peripheral Neuropathy: When the Numbness, Weakness, and Pain Won't Stop</I>, part of the American Academy of Neurology series. Norman Latov, MD, PhD, is Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience, and Director of the Peripheral Neuropathy Clinical and Research Center at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He is a graduate of Columbia College, received the M.D., Ph.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, served as Medical Intern at Boston City Hospital, and completed a residency in Neurology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident. He lectures widely, and has over 200 publications, including research articles, reviews, editorials, chapters and books
