Cathy Crane is a media artist whose award-winning short films have screened internationally at festivals and on European television. Her most recent work Unoccupied Zone: The Impossible Life of Simone Weil received the Jury Award in Narrative from the University Film and Video Association. She has collaborated with many other artists on films, installations, and music videos including Harun Farocki for his two-channel installation piece I Thought I was Seeing Convicts. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Cinema at Ithaca College.

Nicholas Muellner is a photo-based artist, writer and curator who lives and works in Ithaca, NY. His work across a range of disciplines and practices considers the poetics of representation as a conduit between political understanding and personal experience. Recent projects include The Photograph Commands Indifference (A-Jump Books, 2008), and the exhibition Now Is The Winter, (Proekt_Fabrika, Moscow, 2007). He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cinema, Photography and Media Arts at Ithaca College.
