Patricia Corrigan is the author of six nature books for children that explore the zoology of whales, dolphins, sharks, manatees, cougars, and beavers, and a co-author of the book Chemotherapy and Radiation for Dummies. She worked as a reporter for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch newspaper for 23 years and now leads writing workshops as an affiliate member of the acclaimed Amherst Writers and Artists.
