EDWARD CORP is Professor of British History, University of Toulouse, France. He has curated and written the catalogues of two major exhibitions, La Cour des Stuarts à Saint-Germain-en-Laye au temps de Louis XIV (Château de Saint-Germain, 1992) and The King over the Water, 1688-1766 (Scottish National Portrait Gallery, 2001). His other publications include (2004).
