The religious evolution of Rus has been an on-going discussion since it first emerged as a field of study in the nineteenth century. These volumes bring to light – for a wider readership – cutting edge research on the religious culture and politics of Rus, embracing interdisciplinary approaches to the early production of Slavonic texts during and immediately after Christianisation. One of the two volumes is dedicated to textual production and source questions. Über Autor(innen)

Adrian Jusupovic´ is head of the Department of Source Criticism and Editing at the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences. His main research interests lie in medieval Rus, source study, source editing, prosopography and seals.
Aleksander Paron´ is a historian and classical philologist. He works at the Research Centre for Late Antique and Early Medieval Culture of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Wroclaw.
Alexandra Vukovich joined King’s College London in 2022. She is a historian of the Byzantine world, focussing on Northern Eurasia in the middle to late medieval period, from the emergence of early Rus to the establishment of Muscovy as a successor state of the Mongol Empire.
